Our apartment is called Martha 2-4-2 and is a spacious 3 double bedroom top-floor apartment that is fully air-conditioned throughout, and has superb panoramic views of the sea from its southerly facing balcony.

It really is a spectacular vista. From this third (top) floor vantage point, the fishing boats can be seen leaving the beach in the morning and struggling against the waves on the rougher days on their return a few hours later. Larger boats and ships, including cruise ships, are constantly appearing on, and disappearing from the horizon.

On beaches within easy reach of the resort you can try water skiing, jet biking, sailing and windsurfing. There’s a diving school at Torreblanca, horse riding at Fuengirola, bowling at very nearby Miraflores, water parks at Torremolinos and Fuengirola, a casino at Benalmadena. The Costa del Sol is well known as the “Golfer’s Paradise”, and deservedly so. Of the 35 courses within easy reach by hire car, a dozen are within 20 minutes drive!
